Stainless Steel Strainer is a filtering equipment used to collect solid materials from the flowing liquids. The stainless steel is strong, corrosion resistant and can withstand high temperatures and pressures. The strainer has a filtering mechanism by means of a sieve and collects the filtered residues inside y shaped bottom or a bucket. Based on the collection system the strainer can be a Stainless Steel Y Strainer or a bucket strainer. The y shaped strainer is good for use with high velocity liquid flows as it has an angled collection bottom which captures the filtered particles. The Stainless Steel Y Type Strainer is used in wastewater management, pollution control and in slurry removal systems.

The bucket strainer can be used in low pressure, low flow pipelines as it has a vertical and larger collecting bucket. The sizes and dimensions of the strainers range with the pipe size, standards and specifications.
The 2 Stainless Steel Y Strainer is a two way strainer that can filter the residues through a bidirectional flow. The strainers are also used in different applications such as water lines, oil transmission lines, petroleum, petrochemical, chemical, food processing, brewery and other applications that have to deal with impurities in the liquids. The Ss304 Y Type Strainer is one of the most used as it is cost effective and long lasting material.
