The Advance Concentric Butterfly Valve is a type of gate valve produced with a disc gate in the figure of a butterfly. The disc is attached to a central axis which is connected to a threaded stem. The threaded stem is operated with a handwheel moving the gate up and down the seating. The seating is closed when the gate sits in and it is open when the gate lifts above. The Advance Butterfly Valve is used in bidirectional flow systems.

The butterfly valve can be of eccentric or concentric types. These different types are used with different types of fluids with different fluid dynamics properties. The Advance Screwed End Gun Metal Balancing Valve is used to balance the pressure in the pipeline. The valve has a screwed end that can connect to the threaded pipe ends and is made up of gun metal for maximum corrosion resistance, shock absorption and strength. The water hammer effect however can be present in this type of valve. The Advance Balancing Valve is used in high pressure systems like boilers, condensers, power generation systems and in hydraulic systems.
