Inconel Valves are made up of the Inconel family of alloys. There are different types of compositions in different Inconel grades and they are used differently to cater different application types. The inconel exhaust valves are used in exhaust systems as they can withstand high temperatures. The material is a nickel chromium molybdenum alloy that has very high mechanical properties and is expensive. The inconel 625 valves are some of the commonly used valves of this family of alloys. The 625 grade has 58% nickel minimum with 21% chromium, 8% molybdenum and iron, niobium, tantalum, cobalt, manganese and aluminum in the composition. This special composition provides the material with high strength with minimum tensile strength of 690MPa and minimum yield strength of 275MPa.

Nickel Alloy 600 Ball Valve
ASTM A494 CY40 exhaust valve
The inconel ball valves are used with a ball in the body to control the flow. As the material is highly corrosion resistant and temperature resistant, these valves can be used under elevated temperatures and corrosive environments.
The applications such as acid production, chemical processing, food processing, petrochemicals, chemicals and oil and gas industrial applications all use the inconel 625 ball valves and other types of valves. The valve physical properties such as the dimensions and pressure ratings are governed by the standard specifications for the valves. The valves normally range from ½ inches to 24 inches in nominal sizes. However, higher sizes and pressure capacities are made for custom requests as well.
