Aluminium Bronze Valves are used as replacement for many Monel, duplex and super duplex grade valves. These are used mostly in sea water, salt water, brackish water and highly corrosive applications. The valves are cheaper compared to the other higher alloys. Larger diameter valves are available in different aluminum bronze grades. The aluminium bronze gate valves use a gate to operate the valve. The gate opens or closes the valve and is connected to the valve stem. The valve stem is fitted with a handle which moves the stem in up or down and the gate opens and closes the valve. The aluminium bronze ball valves are made under the ASTM B148 specification. The ball valves operate with a ball inside the valve body.

Ni-Al bronze Butterfly Valve
The ball is moved as to open and close the valve. Ball valves are some of the most common designs used in valve manufacturing. The aluminium bronze butterfly valves are a type of gate valves with the gate in the shape of a butterfly.
The valves have handle, stem and the disc attached to a central axis which makes it look like a butterfly. Butterfly valves can be two way valves regulating the flow in both directions. There are unidirectional valves such as check valves as well. The aluminium bronze plug valves come in different sizes and pressure ratings according to the standard specifications. The plug valves use a plug inside the valve body and the plug is operated by a handle to move in and out of the plug seating.
