Copper Nickel 90 /10 Valves are used in highly corrosive media and applications that are sensitive. These valves are used in chemical, petrochemical, acid production, food production, sea water, ship building and other industrial applications where corrosive fluids or corrosive environments involve in transmitting the fluids. The Copper Nickel 90 /10 Globe Valves are one type of the valves with a handle, stem and a globe shaped gate inside the valve body. Oftentimes, the valve body and the globe are made up of different materials to keep up with the chemical properties of the material flowing through the valves. The material has 90% copper and 10% nickel in the composition. These are called the cupronickel valves.

The cupro nickel 90/10 Ball Valves use a ball for the control of the fluid flow. The material is strong and corrosion resistant that the ball or the interior of the valve are not subject to corrosion even with highly corrosive materials such as acids and brackish water. The cupronichel 90/10 Diaphragm Valves use a diaphragm for the control of flow.
These are used in pressure sensitive applications. There are different sizes and dimensions to the valves with added functions. The sizes can range from 2 inches to 48 inches and the pressure capacities vary according to the sizes. The 90/10 cupro nickel Relief and safety Valves use a threshold pressure to open and close. These valves protect the system from bursting out due to elevated pressure.
