ASTM A217 Gr. WC6 Valves are made up of the WC6 material. The specification ASTM A217 includes a low alloy steel group of molybdenum and chromium molybdenum steels. The WC6 material is 1 ¼ chromium ½ molybdenum steel. The ASTM A217 Gr. WC6 Swing Check Valves have swings inside the body and regulate the flow of liquids in one direction. The swing also blocks backflow. The material has very high melting point and temperature resistance. The operating temperature of the valve can be up to 593 degrees Celsius.

The alloy group of the astm a217 grade wc6 Plug Valves is made up of carbon, manganese, phosphorus, sulfur, silicon, chromium, molybdenum and other added elements. The plug valves have a plug to regulate the liquid flow. The minimum tensile strength of the ASME SA217 Grade WC6 Valve is 485MPa and the minimum yield strength is 275MPa.
These valves can be operated under high temperatures and pressures. The hardness of the material is also at up to 207HB max. This allows the valves to operate under high wear and tear conditions as well. The astm a217 gr wc6 Diaphragm Valves are used in oil and gas, petroleum, petrochemical, water purification, food processing and in other liquid flow systems that operate under high temperatures and pressures.
