Nimonic Valves are made up of nickel chromium superalloys. These are made up of high performance alloys and the valves come in different types. The high temperature resistance of the material makes the valves available for elevated temperature applications. The nimonic exhaust valves are used at aircraft engines and in other industrial exhaust systems. They can operate at up to 815 degrees Celsius temperatures. The material is also a precipitation hardenable material. The nimonic engine valves are used inside engines to withstand the high pressures and temperatures the engines can produce. They are applied in stress prone environments and can perform better than other alloy made materials.

The different types of valves include nimonic gate, ball, check, needle and exhaust valves. The nimonic 80a valves are also used in turbines, nuclear generators, motors, racing engines and in fasteners and splinders. The Valve are supplied as solution treated. They can be easily formed and fitted with the desired components in the system. The valves also get higher mechanical performance by aging.
The Nimonic ball Valves use a ball inside the valve body to control the flow and they can be age treated to bring the best mechanical performance as well. The pressure capacities and the sizes of the Valve vary with the standards specifications. The sizes range from 2 inches to 48 inches in general and the pressure ratings range with the application requirements.
