ASTM A352 Gr. LCC Valves are low temperature operating carbon steel valves. These have good strength, wear and tear resistance and mechanical properties. There are different types of valves made under this grade of material. The valves could also be coated with different materials such PTFE. The ASTM A352 Gr. LCC Globe Valves use globular discs to control the flow of liquids with the globe having linear openings parallel to the liquid flow. The globe is rotated to opposite direction to close the valve. There are different materials used for the components of the valve. The ASTM A352 Gr LCC Carbon Steel Valve can be used under low temperature applications in oil and gas, water and other liquids.

The pressure capacities of the valves depend on the size of the valve, the type of the valve, the materials involved and in the application itself. The ASME SA 352 Grade LCC Valve can operate in the range of 150lbs to 2500lbs with the nominal sizes of the valves ranging from ½ inches through 48 inches.
The different types are useful for different application purposes. The same application could use different types such as the control valves, check valves and the gate valves for different purposes such as controlling the flow in one direction, regulating the pressure and regulating the fluid flow. The ASME sa 352 grade lcc Plug Valves use a plug to regulate the flow. The plug can be made in a different material than the valve body.
