4 Way Ball Valve has four ports that connects to it. The valve is a ball valve in design but also has different types of openings and closings. There can be four different configurations of the ports. The 4 Way Hydraulic Ball Valve has port positioning such as L, double L, T and straight. These are named after the shape of the buffer inside the valve body. The L port is used to block two ports and open two other adjacent ports. The T port is the position where one port can be blocked or opened. The 4 Way Stainless Steel Ball Valve has the ball made up of stainless steel grades. The valve body is made up of ductile iron for most uses. The body and valve material can be 304, 316 austenitic stainless steels, duplex or alloy steels as well.

The 4 Way High Pressure Ball Valve ranges in size from ½ inches to 48 inches. The smaller diameter valves usually have higher pressure classes. The pressure classes range from 150lbs to 2500lbs. The diameter, pressure classes and other dimensions are governed by different standards of the valves. The 4 Way 3 Position Ball Valve is the T port valve due to its positioning configuration. The valve can also come in 2 positions or one position types.
